Donene

“I grew up in Granger, WA, which is a small farming community in the Yakima Valley. I married my husband, Brian, in 1991 after graduating from YVCC with a degree in Dental Hygiene. In August of 1992, I began working with Dr. Gavin, proudly serving the wonderful patients in the Lake Chelan Valley. In addition to being a hygienist, I am also a mother of two boys, Tanner and Collin. Our family has enjoyed sports, camping, boating, hiking, fishing, and hunting. For 22 years, I coached volleyball at Chelan High School, and currently coach club volleyball for Kahiau. My husband and I are active members of Real Life Church and I serve on our youth staff, working with teenagers in our valley. I have had the opportunity to go on four church mission trips with our youth to both Mexico and Puerto Rico. Over the years, I have developed a love and respect, not only for my patients, but for the people of this valley. I look forward to continuing to work with them alongside Dr. Whitener.”

Melissa

“I grew up in Spokane and completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene at Eastern Washington University in 1999. That same year, I married Kevin and moved to Chelan. I love it here and appreciate the sense of community. It’s a great place to raise a family. We were blessed with a daughter, Danika, in 2006. I look forward to building friendships with the team, educating patients about preventing and treating disease, and meeting so many different clients who each have their own story. When I am not at work, I enjoy traveling, camping, boating, cooking, and helping with my husband’s construction business. Most of all, I treasure time with friends and family!”

Laurie

“Hi! My name is Lauri. My husband Ron and I are proud parents of our 3 grown kids, Derin, Austin, and Peyton, and grandparents to 3, soon-to-be-4, grandkids! I’ve been a Dental Assistant for over 30 years and I truly love the connections I’ve made with patients over the years. When I’m not working, my family is my #1 priority and I value spending time enjoying them. I love to spend time outside in the sun doing water activities, easy hikes, and fishing in the Columbia River. ”

Kim

“Hi there, I’m Britta! I’ve lived in the Chelan-Manson area since 2002 and love this area and the community. I’ve been a Dental Assistance for 9 years and have worked at various offices in the valley before coming to this office almost a year ago. My husband, 2 girls, and 3 mini-dachshunds enjoy camping, fishing, and taking advantage of the beautiful lake and all the activities the area has to offer!”
